The burning question that I am sure has been plaguing you since you began reading my little blog is….Why a pink blog if you have 2 boys and a husband? Shouldn’t you do a boy theme to let everyone *know* your a mom to BOYS? Well dahlings, the answer to that question is: I need some pink in my life people! The ironic thing is I’m not a pink person. I don’t wear pink. I don’t decorate with pink. I’m the least pink and fluffy person you will ever meet in your entire life. And yet….pink.
You see, in my day to day life I’m very low maintenance. Jeans and tees..my wardrobe is mostly black, navy, black, fall colors, and black. I really like black. My house? Black curtains, black chairs, black and cream bedroom. Accents? Dark red or cranberry. But every now and again I feel girly. I like roses, and hearts, and teddybears (shh!) and pink. I like pink where other people don’t really see it. My makeup case, pens, little notepads around the house… and my blog. I don’t share my blog with the people I “know” because this is more for me. (This is also why I use a pseudonym, I have wolves for family and want them to leave alone online) It’s my “me” time and pink is my indulgence color. So amid all of the darker colors I usually prefer (really, when I went to NY they thought I was a native!) and the blue of my little boys I have created a little haven of pink.

Love it! My house is all dark colors too, I used to have dreams of a flowerly bedroom, but my husband’s not having any of it! We like rustic stuff. I am blessed to have 3 daughters besides my 4 sons, so I get to do them up in pink and paint their room all girly shades of love and giggles!
