My first blog was a political one. I started it around the time of the last presidential election and then got bored. I’ve decided that I need to get back in the political conversation because I’ve heard so many stupid things in that field lately. Therefore, I will now be doing a political rant every Friday. I want a cute name for my rants/discussions and I want other Mommy’s to become involved in the discussion as well. Sort of the political version of Menu Plan Monday or Dear Kid Saturday.
My biggest problem is that I can’t think of a catchy name. I’d love some ideas, once I find one I like I’ll make a button so we can all display our interest in the government proudly! In case you were wondering, I don’t have a strong affiliation with either party. I registered as a Republican when I turned 18 because I most closely favored their platform at the time. During the last election I realized I really have Libertarian leanings and yet I voted Democrat. I say that to illustrate the point, all ideologies are welcome here. I love discourse and debate that is logical, well reasoned, and polite. I don’t have to agree with you, and you certainly don’t have to agree with me but won’t it be fun to agree or disagree together?
So what do you think we should call it? Eclectic Politics? Political Friday? Mommy’s Politics? What?! I need a name and my creativity has dried up and blown away
